Tri County Council for Southern Maryland is Hiring a Driving Instructor Near Prince Frederick, MD
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young drivers' lives? We are thrilled to announce that we are seeking motivated individuals like you to join our team as classroom and 'in-car' instructors at our MVA-licensed Calvert County-based Driving School.
We believe in creating a supportive and enriching environment where our students and instructors thrive. If you enjoy working with people, especially youth aged between 15 and 25, and possess safe driving habits along with a willingness to engage with a classroom of up to 30 students, then you might be the perfect fit for us!
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Clean driving record (4 or fewer points on your driving record in the past two years)
- Minimum age of 21
- 3 years with a full driving license in Maryland
Here's what you can expect from the job:
- Comprehensive certification and training process required by the MVA to become a state licensed instructor, lasting anywhere from 3-6 weeks depending on circumstances.
- Once certified, instructors will have the opportunity to teach both 'in-car' lessons and classroom sessions.
- Starting hourly rate of $20 with annual rate increases.
